Land of midnight sun, northern lights, steep coast, deep fjords, towering mountains, arctic fox and polar bear. If New Zealand had not been available, Peter Jackson could easily have established Middle Earth in Norway.

Norge or Noreg to the villagers, the Kingdom of Norway lies on the west coast of the Scandinavian peninsula, with the Svalbard archipelago to the north in the middle of the Arctic Ocean.

Norway does not muck around when it comes to the seasons, each with its own distinct personality. The ever changing landscape of the country is a photographer’s dream.

Some of the talented Norwegian members of the #ExploringNature community take us on a photo tour of their incredible homeland. He says the finest thing about photographing his place is the variety that every new day brings.
